About The Rev. Dr. Hollmann

The Rev. Dr. Joshua Hollmann is Professor of Systematic Theology at Concordia University, St. Paul. He earned his PhD from McGill University and has published extensively in the areas of Christian thought and history. He has presented at numerous international conferences and taught at Lutheran seminaries and universities around the world. Before teaching at Concordia University, St. Paul, he served as theology faculty at Concordia College-New York from 2013-2021. In addition to his academic endeavors, Dr. Hollmann now serves as Senior Pastor of True Light Lutheran Church in New York City, Education Executive of the LCMS Atlantic District, and Circuit Visitor for Circuit Five of the LCMS Atlantic District. As Associate Editor of Lutheran Forum, he regularly contributes articles on theology for the life of the church today.
