Pastors Wives Retreat

Dear Sisters,

The theme for this retreat is Spirit-Led: Fruit-filled Living. In Galatians chapter 5, the Apostle Paul lists the fruit we bear when we live and keep in step with the Spirit. These fruits are gifts of the Spirit, free for the using!! During the different seasons of our lives, we may bear or “use” different fruit. Or we may find, depending on that season of life, we forget we possess these gifts altogether. We are going to spend some time exploring what the Fruits of the Spirit look like; how living in the Spirit changes in each season; and what fruit most benefits our lives in each season.

Friday night will begin our discussion with a general look at the passage in Galatians. Then, we are going to relax, get to know each other better, and spend some time with a sip-and-paint session! It is intended to be an evening of fun and fellowship.

Saturday morning we will dive deeper into what it means to keep in step with the Spirit by using these gifts and how it changes depending on what season of life we are in. We will end our time in the afternoon with small group discussions on how each fruit makes a difference in our lives and what those differences are.

We look forward to our time of fellowship and study as we discover more about the gifts God has given us that make it possible to keep in step with the Spirit and lead a Fruit-filled Life!
