Resolution 1-12

To Encourage Congregations and Agencies
Within the LCMS Atlantic District to
Work Together to Share Resources

Whereas, The LCMS Atlantic District was
	founded in 1906 to address the emerging
	needs to Gospel mission and ministry;
	and
Whereas, our congregations and agencies
	in the LCMS Atlantic District were
	founded with the goal of faithfully and
	vigorously embracing Gospel mission and
	ministry; and
Whereas, our high schools in New York
	City (MLS and OSL) and some
	congregations in Albany (Unity)
	recently have come together to share
	resources for the benefit of Gospel
	mission and ministry, just as other
	congregations in the district have done
	in the past; And
Whereas, there are more congregations
	and agencies in the LCMS Atlantic
	District that would benefit similarly
	from sharing resources; therefore be it
Resolved, that the LCMS Atlantic
	District in convention give thanks for
	collaborative efforts that have been
	facilitated with congregations,
	schools, and agencies in the district;
	and be it further
Resolved, that the LCMS Atlantic
	District leadership establish tangible
	plans for to encourage congregations
	and agencies to work together and share
	resources; and be it finally
Resolved, that the congregations and
	agencies of the LCMS Atlantic District
	commit themselves to working with the
	LCMS Atlantic District leadership in
	this effort.
