Resolution 1-11
To Affirm The LCMS Atlantic District’s
Reorganization of Visitation Circuits
Whereas, in 2023 The LCMS Atlantic
District Board of Directors began the
process of reorganizing some visitation
circuits; and
Whereas, to reflect the LCMS bylaws on
visitation circuits, it is prudent for
the LCMS Atlantic District in
convention to affirm The LCMS Atlantic
District Board of Directors’ work to
reorganize some of the district’s
visitation circuits; therefore let it
be
Resolved, that the LCMS Atlantic
District in convention affirm 1) moving
St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Hudson,
NY to The Metro Albany Circuit; 2)
moving Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in
Laurelton, NY and Trinity Lutheran
Church in Locust Manor, NY to The
Queens Circuit, and 3) combining the
two Mid-Hudson Valley circuits into one
Mid-Hudson Valley circuit; and be it
finally
Resolved, that this resolution be sent
to the Secretary of the LCMS.
