Dear Members of the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod,
Grace and peace to you from LuHi! On behalf of our students, faculty, staff, and the entire LuHi community, I bring you warm greetings in Christ. It is an honor to be invited to share with you during your upcoming Regular Convention. As a Christ-centered, college-preparatory school serving grades 6 through 12, LuHi remains steadfast in our mission to develop compassionate and educated leaders for the future.
Each day on campus, we witness God's grace at work through the lives of our students—whether in the classroom, on the athletic fields, on stage, or in service to others. We are blessed to walk alongside families from across Long Island and beyond, partnering together in Christian education.

LuHi School Report – 2024-2025 School Year
Location: Brookville, NY
Grades: 6–12
Enrollment: 450 students
As a result of our strategic plan, LuHi opened a state-of-the-art classroom wing for the 2024–25 school year. This 30,000-square-foot space includes flexible learning environments, collaborative spaces, and cutting-edge technology designed to enhance student learning and community connection. We entered the school year with a 40-year record in new student enrollment—an exciting milestone that reflects the growing interest in LuHi’s mission. Our boys basketball program finished the year ranked #5 in the final ESPN poll. The team is recognized not only for its success on the court, but for the mentorship and character development it fosters in our student-athletes. In March, over 700 students and volunteers came together for LuHi’s annual Meal Packing Event, preparing more than 140,000 meals for local food pantries and international partners. This year, we had a group of students travel abroad to Guatemala and offered a domestic mission trip to underclassmen for the first time—both powerful opportunities for students to be the hands and feet of Jesus through service, compassion, and connection. We are grateful for the support of the Atlantic District and its commitment to Lutheran education. Together, we raise up the next generation of servant-leaders, rooted in Christ.
