Dear Sisters & Brothers in Christ in the Atlantic District—LCMS,
Greetings in the Name of Jesus! As a Lead Pastor & Head of School at Our Saviour Lutheran School in the Bronx, I am excited about the future strength of our mission and work throughout New York City. We are growing in a new season of life in our ministry, entering into an innovative partnership with Martin Luther School in Queens, NY. Through this partnership, students throughout the metro New York area will be educated with a foundation in Christ Jesus, ensuring that the Gospel is proclaimed while raising young people to be impact makers in society throughout their earthly journey. Ultimately we desire to ensure that each student whom we educate exemplifies the principles of our school’s mission:

As we prepare for this new season, we give thanks to God for the incredible blessings bestowed upon us, especially as we are able to bless others. Through the efforts of our educational mission, we have sent over 70% of our students to college on full academic and/or athletic scholarships, allowing themto enter their undergraduate education without additional financial concern. For many of our students and their families, this offers them full access to a college education, something that may have been impossible had it not been for their time at our school. Still, as we know from our Lord, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Mt. 19:26b).
Ultimately, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and for all the saints in our District who continue to uphold us in prayer, knowing that “the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16b). Therefore, THANK YOU! We look forward to continuing our service in our community and pray that God keeps allowing us to share His Good News with all whom enter our doors. May His peace be yours in all ways and always.
